Contenders Gauntlet: NA & EU

Content and Broadcast

Created content branding and 99 video content pieces.

With only a 6-week window for preparations, Activision-Blizzard’s Overwatch Esports division was looking to source a 3rd-party Production company to quickly mobilize in order to run and broadcast their premier year-end T2 Overwatch Tournament: Contenders Gauntlet. Elo Hell was selected for our ability to scale our regional teams to match our clients’ needs, communicate & work both efficiently and asynchronously, and produce content on a large scale within very limited time constraints.

Objectives
  • Manage and organize the tournaments for the North American and European regions.
  • Provide a professional broadcast for every match in both regions as well as two cross-region showmatches across 11 consecutive days.
  • Produce 99 individual content pieces for use on broadcast and social media.
Goals
  • Expand our regional and multi-language streaming infrastructure
  • Expand our top-end streaming capabilities
  • Customize our broadcast standards and practices to our client's specific needs
Broadcast

For broadcast, we received most of the assets from Blizzard, but we had to prepare them all for broadcast, and also create new assets, such as the casters screen, and also the rosters.
